Liz L. Alexander

Liz’s love of fiction began with reading a Wrinkle in Time as a fourth grader. And of course, then came Nancy Drew.  While continuing to read, enjoy, and escape into fiction, her writing was limited to research reports, psychological evaluations, and professional articles. Writing was drudgery. The switch to fiction was a complete surprise and began with an idea that had to be told.  Now writing is a joy.  Liz has continued writing and is now working on another novel with more ideas, places, and times to visit.

Liz is a member of the International Women’s Writing Guild, South Florida Writers Association, and Romance Writers of America.

Liz currently lives in Florida and has a private psychology practice. Having been trained by Brian Weiss, she frequently conducts past life regression sessions. When not writing, she is playing with her dogs, riding horses, or hanging at Starbucks. Join her there at www.MySpace.com/LizLAlexander or stop by her webpage at www.LizLAlexander.com. She also loves to travel and research for the next book is the greatest excuse.

Liz attended Russell Sage College obtaining a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor’s of Arts in Philosophy, and a Master’s of Arts in Community Psychology.  She continued her education at Alliant International University, graduating with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  She is a licensed psychologist and credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselor.
